Shisas are Okinawan guardian lions. Shisa boy and girl are pair when we decorate them. Boy Shisa that is open a big mouth invites happiness and good lucks. Girl Shisa that is closed mouth keeps them. "A,Un" means begining and end because "A/あ" is first letter of Japanese hiragana and "Un/ん" is end of letter.
*Some visitors from other countries called it a Shi shi dog.
It is used natural material that made of hemp fabric.
Itis weaved by hand carefully. The craftsman in Kyoto dyes the color and paint the patterns.
