Founded in 1887, KIMURA OHSHIDO is a distributor of Japanese traditional handcrafts dealing mainly with Japanese dolls. Having a nationwide network of craftsmen and workshops, we stock the goods in our head office in Kyoto and deliver them to shops all over Japan as a wholesaler, in addition to operating our own stores located near Kiyomizu-dera temple, in Porta, the underground shopping mall at Kyoto Station, and online. We offer various types of dolls including those made of ceramic, paper, wood (Kokeshi dolls) and silk crape (Chirimen dolls).
