This kokeshi is made by Tatsuo Kato who is kokeshi craftsman in Gunma prefecture. The original his works is created by the skill that is lathed by moving away from the center. He has high skill that it is painted by hot iron when he paints face and bamboo leaves. It makes it attractive and warm expressions. His kindness and thoughtfulness are expressed in his works.
