Does it express that it is going to go out with a Tenugui on its head due to cover up in the sun in the summer? We call many birds "Chidori". We feel that there is a crowd of birds in the seaside in the end of summer from Chidori. When we wore Kimono as usual, some people may put their tenugui on their head.

It is made by Ms. Izumi Oki in Sansaku factory.She cannot make many kokeshis for 1 year because she makes it by hand carefully.She has a skill of Japanese painting, so her line and drawing are sophisticated and beautiful. The colors are also like Japanese painting.
