Ume-emaki（S）Purple
The kokeshi's title is Ume emaki. This is one of traditional kokehi which is made by wood. It is made by Katsumi Sasaki. It's painted purple and black carefully and strong brush strokes. You can look plum flowers on its body. We feel the doll is old style but it's still beautiful.
