Kokeshi Daruma Red
It is a red koekshi's daruma doll. It is painted "福/fuku" in Chinese character, Kanji. Fuku means happiness. The big eyes and brows like clouds are lovely. It is a mordan doll, so it is easy to decorate it anywhere. Daruma is famous talisman in Japan. The red color means good for overall luck and happy for family.
It is made by Eiichi Fujikawa. Fujikawa kokeshi is one of famous craftsmen and factories in Gunma prefecture.
