Japanese Dolls and Crafts : Kimura Ohshido

This kokeshi is named "Nihonbare" which means sunny days in Japan.It's made by Shoei Fujikawa who is craftperson in Gunma prefecture. The body is drawn some cherry blossoms, a torii which is a gateway to a Shinto shrine, and Mt. Fuji. The body is light blue and light green's color. The red neckband is point color, it's stylish. Mt.Fuji is the highest mauntain in Japan. Many people think Mt. Fuji is very beautiful. This kokeshi invite us the place where is Fujisan-hongu-Sengentaisya.
